Hi there

I updated my MacBook with Big Sur a few days ago after the update with my Helix Floor

Nevertheless, I downloaded and installed the Native 3.10, but when I try to launch Edit with Garageband as I did as usual, garageband closes.

I've got the message "trouble with Cocoaview module"

Who had already seen this kind of message?

I take your advices

Thanks

Marc (From France)

Hi Marc,

There is a guy in this thread “ebodave”, who mentioned that he could not get GarageBand to load with the latest version of Helix Native. He didn’t say if there was an error message such as the one you have reported.

He has not posted again to say if it is fixed, therefore it may be best to open a ticket with Customer Support to make them aware of this problem while using GBand and Big Sur.

It must be some specific clash with the version of, Native, GarageBand, and the new Mac OS. I checked my older version of GB running under High Sierra with the new Native, and all is fine.

Apologies - I cannot be any more helpful than this.
