JensUlv Posted May 24, 2021 Share Posted May 24, 2021 Hi, I have a big issue with my StageSource l2t as illustrated in the attached video. It works fine for the first 5-10 minutes after turning it on. But then the volume suddenly disappears almost completely, and the only way to fix it is to reboot, and it will work for another 5 minutes before the story repeats... It sounds as if the power amp shuts down completely or something, but I am not an expert here and don't really don't know what is going on. All inputs are affected, and it seems the fan on the power unit does not spin. Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be, and how to fix it? The unit is a few years old and out of guarantee, so not sure how much I am willing to spend trying to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. JensUlv Posted May 26, 2021 Author Share Posted May 26, 2021 Not much help unfortunately, Line 6 just refer to a local repair center and are not even willing to help troubleshooting. "the Stagesource should be checked by a Line6 service center, you can also order spare-parts there. But Line6 cannot offer repair support or supply schematics and service-manuals, so we'd recommend letting the repair be performed by them". That’s why Line 6 enters into (IP protecting) product support relationships with service centres across the globe. They have access to that information. Customers don’t.
