innovine
Anyone know what the max input signal voltage to the dt25 is before it starts clipping the input? I'm thinking in connection with boost pedals and other very hot output pedals.
MartinDorr
Don't know what the voltage would be, but if you measure via USB on an empty patch that you get more than -12dBFS Peak (mixer at 0dB gain) I would either turn the gain on the external device down or lower the gain on the first HD effect/amp so that the output of the simulated block is no more than -12dBFS as a rule of thumb. Good luck. Would be curious to hear back what you will see for different things you connect.
dlowe102
I connect a metal muff in topology 2 with the drive at 9 oclock with the dist. at 10 - 12 oclock and level adj. to level with no problems.. no clipping heard. I also use it as a clean boost on all channels I set it with the dist on 0 and the level maxed. ive also used a ts9 wich tightens it up. Overall it acts like a regular amp with boosts in front.
