HELIX STOMP EXP PDL: 2 MOTIONS FOR EFFECT TO RESPOND

I'm using an Hx Stomp with an M Audio exp pedal and I had it working fine a year ago. I haven't had a need for it and now I'm having this weird issue where it take two pumps on the pedal to get the effect to work. Like when I use the whammy, the pitch changes on every other heel-to-toe motion. It's too consistent to be a latency issue and I've tried changing the settings every which way I can think of on the software. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,

I use 2 of the M-Audio EX-P pedals on my Helix Floor and have never had any issues with them. The only thing I could suggest is if you have not used the pedal for a year or so, try some contact cleaner on the potentiometer inside the pedal and clean the jack plug and Stomp jack socket with some isopropyl alcohol as things might have become oxidised while being unused. Also check the small grey knob on the LHS of the pedal is turned fully clockwise and that the switch underneath is set to 'OTHER".

Hope this helps/makes sense.
