lupoyehonatan Posted July 24, 2021 Share Posted July 24, 2021 Not sure if this is an issue with all amp sims but with every amp sim I tried I've had this issue where I can hear the clean DI signal from the guitar under distorted tones. It's not that noticeable but it can still be heard. I made sure everything is on 100% wet and that doesn't fix it. I have direct monitoring turned off on my audio interface (it's a Behringer UMC22) so it's not caused by that. sample with amp sim enabled: https://sndup.net/2ptk sample of the clean DI track: https://sndup.net/37pn In this sample I'm using helix native inside of reaper. could the cheap audio interface be the problem, or maybe it's something to do with my technique?
