notimerocker
Just learning the ropes on the HX Stomp, but something has me stumped. In snapshot mode, with reverb and delay tails ON, when I switch from a snapshot with a long feedback & decay on the verb and delay to one with shorter, the tails seem to die very quickly. Is there anyway to control this? Think of it this way - I'm going from an ambient snapshot to a non-ambient one and want the ambience to fade out in the background after I switch. Thoughts? 2021-09-22_10-18-33.mp4
phil_m
If you’re using the same delay and reverb blocks, what you’re talking about is the expected behavior. Like if you’re reducing the feedback parameter in the new snapshot, what’s happening to the repeats is controlled by the value in the new snapshot. The workaround, if you want to call it that, is to use use different delay and/or reverb blocks per snapshot.
notimerocker
Thanks for the response. Wouldn't the tails still die when switching tho? I'm not sure I understand lol.

How long they continue depends on how you have the Feedback parameter set.
