Cannot Start Workbench With Variax 700 Acoustic

Hi,

 

I have connected my Variax 700 acoustic through the Variax interface with my mac.

In monkey everything works fine, but when starting up workbench (1.54) I get the following message.

 

Also installed the newest Java ....

 

An exception was caught.

the newest java is likely the problem... it's 1.7 the variax software uses 1.6

apple tends to be very strict about java updates...

but i suspect the answer for you is restoring the previous version of java.

and apple isn't going to make that easy....
