Wireless transmitter suddenly not syncing

My wireless dongle has suddenly stopped syncing. It charges fine but plugging it into the guitar in socket doesn't result in the sync arrows symbol any more, and I get no signal from any guitar when using it. Wired worked fine.

Any clues?

It's completely erratic actually.

After I posted I got it to work, then it stopped working.

It's fully charged. Most of the time it flashes green when it's not plugged into anything, sends no signal and continues to flash green when it's plugged into the guitar. Sometimes it turns orange and then solid green when it's unplugged and then I can plug it in again and it works.

That sounds pretty broken no? I can't see any mention of flashing green when unplugged being a thing that's supposed to happen.

To answer your question, pushing the micro switch seems to have a variety of results. Sometimes nothing and sometimes various lights flashing that weren't flashing before.

It sounds to me like the micro switch might be malfunctioning. In any case, open up a support ticket, and they should take care of it.

How do I update the transmitter firmware?

I was told to do that by Line6 but only the firmware for the main unit appears in the updater software and I don't seem to be able register the transmitter separately.

Edit, ignore that. Just more evidence that the microswitch is faulty. When I reinserted it a few times it finally showed up in the update options.
