chrisgbs Posted January 18, 2022 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Hey guys, I'm looking to change my live rig around and need a little guidance. I'm looking into purchasing the hx stomp to be my amp / cab unit while running the hx effects (I currently own this unit) for all my time base effects. The way I would like to run this rig is to have the signal be split into two, one going to the front of house / pa and the other going to a power amp / cab for stage volume. Is this possible to do with the hx stomp and effects together? I know it would make more sense to get a rack unit or the floor model but I don't have the funds for that and already have enough cables to do this setup (if possible) from my current live rig. rd2rk Posted January 19, 2022 Share Posted January 19, 2022 Take the L/MONO OUT from the HXS to the HXFX Input. Match the LEVEL settings in each device's Global Settings. On the HXFX, after the effects, create a split so that each path has a separate Output (see page 36-37 of the manual - Rev C). Take one of the HXFX Output(s) to the power amp, probably Line Level.
