Exporting Presets Using POD Go Edit 1.30

I use Pod Go Edit v1.3 to save (Export) files to disk.  Since the most recent HW and SW upgrade I've experiences the following problems.

  1. When I export my preset to disk and later load it, changes are not being saved.  However, if I save the preset to Pod Go internal memory and then Export it, I can recall it later with no problems.  I've been doing this for years way back to the days of GearBox.  Anyone else having similar problems.

  2. Second difficulty is in previous versions of Pod Go Edit, if a change was made to a preset, the Preset Name would be ITALICIZED to denote that a change has been made and suggest that you might want to Save the change - in case you forgot.

I made a quick video to illustrate that both problems exist [ https://youtu.be/6HqgO1J1twU ].

Anyone else having similar problems?

If you export a preset without saving it to the POD Go first, what will be exported is the preset as it is saved on the hardware itself. This is the expected behavior.

Gearbox and POD Go Edit work differently in that Gearbox stores everything on the computer and then syncs back to the hardware. POD Go Edit is a remote control, and everything is stored on the hardware itself and is synced in real-time. So I think that’s why the export behavior is different.

As far as the italicized name thing, I’ll have to check that out. If it’s not doing that, that seems like a bug.
