teleshawn
ok bear with me as ive seen this discussed before, but usually with no examples so ive been a google detective truing to solve this little artifact I get with a fuzz pedal ive only got a fender Baja Telecaster I hear it on all the pick up settings. I do not have another guitar to try , just a bedroom noodler, with an hx stomp and guitar I hear it though headphones and through the powercab I made a simple patch with bighorn in the first block into a Mandarin orange, I know its over the top distortion but like I said im thing to highlight the sound im quickly muting the note and there's no fret buzzing happening I have a new guitar cable . im 100% positive its a digital thing happening in the unit. as a by product of the algorthims , and im hoping im just missing a secret setting ive messed wth the impedance at auto and up to 1m I have guitar pad on I have the high and low cut set to the recommended 80hz and 10khz from similar posts if I pull the fuzz back it does lessen , but its still there. after the note is muted you can hear a decaying weird sound. maybe this is normal but I don't think so thanks for any tips that aren't things ive listed above
phil_m
It doesn't sound like a digital artifact to me... Sounds like what you'd expect from a gate-y fuzz like the Big Muff with a muted string like that.
