derbst
Hi, i used the 4 cm to connect the stomp with my amp. Am i able to go first in the pre-amp and then use the send/return of the amp. In particular i want to edit the ampsound before going in the pre-amp and after the pre-amp each with an EQ. Is it possible with the Stomp and 4cm? If yes, which routing do i have to choose on the Stomp? Thanks for answers.
rd2rk
Simplest explanation: Global Settings>Ins/Outs>Return Type=RETURN Guitar>HXS L/Mono Input>HXS FX (OD, Dist, Mods)>FX Loop L Block>TS Cable from HXS Send (TS=L/Mono) to Amp Input (amp pre)> Amp FX Send>HXS L/Mono Return>HXS Time based FX (delay, reverb, Mods)>HXS L/Mono Out> Amp RETURN You probably don't want to use an HXS amp/preamp into a physical amp's preamp (unless you're using an HXS preamp as an AIAB), but you can toggle an HXS amp/preamp so that the signal bypasses the physical amp's preamp by assigning both the HXS amp and the FX Send L block to the same FS, saved with one ON and the other OFF. Whether or not you use a FULL HXS amp model or an HXS preamp in this second configuration is a matter of taste, no right or wrong there although the FULL amp model will be significantly louder than the preamp model. derbst
Hi rd2rk, thank you very much. You are right. I am using the physical amp's preamp. It's the Diezel VH4s, which means i have a stereo signal. Strictly said it's a 5CM. My chain in the HXS is now: Global Settings>Ins/Outs>Return Type=RETURN Distortion > EQ > FX Loop L/R > EQ > Mods > Output Main L/R I'm curios to see how it works. I try it as soon as i get my amp from the servive. Greetz
