USB midi: has this been fixed since hd500

Hi all

im looking to upgrade as a number of things have improved but 1 thing that is important is USB compliant class = yes! Great, now can you actually now use midi commands from the fb or do u still have to :/ plug in an external midi as well? Ie midi into a host

So you had to use a separate midi to communicate with computer. 

Could anyone confirm that Helix has a working midi port via usb (the hd500 even had a usb/midi port appear on computer but you couldnt use it??? Great ux that one)

Ah ok.

 

Yes, Helix has a full bidirectional MIDI and Midi Clock, over USB.
