When it's connected to my laptop (Win 10) Helix Edit runs for about an hour with no problems then it loses functionality and freezes. The unit is fine and continues to work. I guess I will need to reinstall Hx Edit on the laptop - is there anything I need to do to ensure that I don't lose all my presets? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
phil_m Posted June 9, 2022 Share Posted June 9, 2022 The presets are all stored in the Helix. No information at all is stored in HX Edit itself. But I don’t expect the issue is really with HX Edit. I suspect it has to do with your laptop’s USB ports. There are Windows settings that have to do with power management that can affect USB communication over time, so I’d double check those.
