rjlucasone
I am interested in buying the Catalyst for guitar practice and in the rare case I perform. I know I can use POD Go with it but I wondered if it is safe to use a bass guitar for practice? I know nothing can replace a good bass amp but I am tight with money and use POD Go for bass recording but it would be nice to plug it into the Catalyst just for practice without headphones alone at times. Can anyone give me info about this? Any help will be appreciated before I make a purchase. Ideally buying two amps would be great but I only can buy one. Of course I would plug the bass into POD Go and into back.
rd2rk
I would not advise this. Maybe at EXTREMELY low volume with a limiter but...I'm not gonna test it on mine! Use headphones out of the PodGo for bass practice until you can afford a proper bass practice amp.
rjlucasone
It was going to be used at lowest watt setting for practice. Sucks having to plug in the POD go every time with headphones. That’s why I asked if anyone had knowledge. Thanks for the input.
