Catalyst 60 or 100

Hey team, asking for advice.. Recently sold my TM deluxe reverb and manage to buy a pod go. Now looking for a good speaker for it. Was initially buying a head rush frfr speaker but decided to go to the power amp route. Was thinking of a katana or a catalyst, now leaning toward the catalyst. Just wondering how loud is the 60 vs the 100. I would used it mostly at home and probably practice with a garage band. Gigs wise will probably be in cafes or pubs if I’m lucky. Just worried if I get 60 its not going to be loud enough and if I buy 100, even with powerscaling it to 0.5w it might be too loud for home use, currently live in an apartment.. Price for the 60 in New Zealand is 599 and the 100 is 899. So price wise its a bit of an increase as well. Any advice would be of great help.. Thanks..

.5w is .5 watts on either. I'm using a Cat100 on the .5w setting and getting very decent sound at apartment level (60-70db - conversation levels).

the 50w setting is pretty loud, but I'm not playing with a band. I'm pretty sure the 60w version will be sufficient for your needs.

However, if you can swing it, get the 100w version. Reports are it's plenty loud enough for outdoor concerts even at 50w, and it has MIDI.

You might not need MIDI now, but with my Helix Floor it opens up LOTS of possibilities. At the very least, if you do get the Cat60, get the LFS2 footswitch.
