HX Stomp switches translate to which XL/Floor/LT switches?

Title almost says it all. I'd simply like to know which switches the ones on the Stomp translate to when you're loading a Stomp patch into one of the larger units. My wild guess would be 1-3 but as in some modes 1 and 7 are reserved for patch/bank up/down on the larger units, I could as well imagine it'd be 2-4 or even 8-10.

I sold my Rack, but I remember that for the time I had both Stomp and Rack, the Stomp FS were just translated 1:1, so on the Rack, from FS1 to FS5. Of course to see them all I had to set the floorboard controller in 10 Switches Mode in the Globals, as FS1 is BANK/PRESET UP (they are not hardcoded/reserved, they do change functionality based on the Global Settings)

Reserved CCs are also the same 1:1, with the difference that Stomp stops at FS5.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember having problems of any sort when loading Stomp preset on the Rack...neither that I had to move or mess around with FS assignation.

Yeah well, I know that they're not exactly hardcoded, but they sort of are, though. In all other modes but plain stomp mode (snapshot snapshot/stomp, preset, etc.) switches 1 and 7 are reserved and can't be user assigned (as you will certainly know).

I'm just asking because I might want to share some patches with users of larger units.

So, to conclude: Snapshots stay the same (just the snapshot number is relevant) and switches 1-3 transfer to switches 1-3, so you need to enter 10-stomp mode on the larger units to see switch 1.

And fwiw, sort of unrelated but still sort of related: Why isn't there an option to flip between modes on the Stomp without sacrificing an external switch (or bowing down, which doesn't count...)? Given that there's plenty of units on the market allowing you to do various things when pressing two switches simultaneously, this could very well be possible on the Stomp as well. Could be like: Pressing switches 1+2 would flip between whatever preset mode and stomp/snapshot mode, pressing switches 2+3 would flip between stomp and snapshot mode.

Maybe time for another Ideascale visit...
