SakoHelix Posted December 5, 2022 Share Posted December 5, 2022 Well, another Helix Floor update and another issue during install, however this one was actually called for by the manufacturer. I'm using a macbook pro updated to Ventura, and first downloaded and installed the latest HX Edit software as directed. As mentioned, I expected the update error and the HX Edit notification that this will be normal, however the unit itself is not coming out of it. Initial error message popped up in HX edit, but I cannot tell if it's an error message I'm getting on the unit cause it's not longer in english, just this static-sort of code. Although I followed the HX Edit instructions to power cycle the unit and continue the install, the unit is frozen with no connectivity to HX Edit and still displaying gibberish (see attached photo). I tried to power cycle in safe boot mode, test mode, global reset and still just gives me the same gibberish. Has anybody experienced this and/ or can offer a solution to finish the 3.50 update? HonestOpinion Posted December 5, 2022 Share Posted December 5, 2022 Try following the instructions at this link to use the Line 6 Updater to reapply the firmware.
