Headoftheline
Don’t know if anyone here is willing to help me, but after a couple of hours on the phone with customer service at Line 6 and then with Mission Engineering, I still have an issue with getting my SP1-L6 expression pedal to work with my HX Stomp. Bought the pedal to use the toe switch to toggle between volume and wah functions. At this point, I’m pretty convinced that I have a pedal with a non functioning toe switch, but neither person I spoke with was confident with what settings on the HX Stomp, should work. There is also a contradiction between the instructions on the video and the card that comes with the pedal. In the video it says you should connect a TRS patch cable into output one of the pedal, the card says output two if you intend to use the toe switch. I’ve tried both ways and just about every combination of settings in preferences under global settings and options within a given preset. I can get both functions (wah and volume) working simultaneously, but cannot get the switch to toggle between them. If anyone knows of a quick and easy way to see if the pedal toe switch is faulty, It would be MUCH appreciated. Been spinning my wheels for over a week. rd2rk
Use a breakout/insert cable such as this: AmazonSmile: Hosa STP-204 1/4" TRS to Dual 1/4" TS Insert Cable, 4 Meters : Electronics OUT 1 = TIP OUT 2 = RING Global Settings>Preferences>EXP/FS TIP = EXP1; EXP/FS RING = FS5 Global Settings>Footswitches>FS5 Function = ToggleEXP I find that when adding the wah/vol blocks, adding them both at once before saving the preset works most consistently, but that could just be one of those "I've always done it that way, so..." thing.
