rednoise0
I recently upgraded the hard disk drive in my computer to a solid state drive. Now Native won't start properly - I get error messages: Failed to connect to DSP engine. (Device has not been initialized properly. [code -8201]) and Failed to get favorite names. Service is not online. [code -8207] I suppose the hardware change somehow invalidated my authorization, but the computer is the same, only the disk has changed. What should I do to resolve this? Must I de-authorize and re-authorize this computer? I hate to waste one of my limited lifetime authorizations when it's the same computer. phil_m
Yes - deauthorize and reauthorize your computer. The limit on authorizations can be extended if you run into issues with it. It’s an anti-piracy tool, not something that’s meant to limit how many time legit users can install the software.
