hamsterean
It’s on the line 6 marketplace, there’s a bunch of Celestion bundles but none of them say Pod Go specifically. https://shop-us.line6.com/marketplace/g12m-greenback-ir-collection/ On the page it only said Compatibility: Helix Family, Helix Stomp and HX Effects. I am completely new to this, I only used real amps before. I’m interested in buying the Pod Go and loading some good IR’s into it. I’m wondering if it’s just because the IR’s came out before the Pod Go.
olerabbit
PodGo can work with any wav files without problems. L6 modifies IR files to especially work with Helix or PodGo eg. These modified files have a specific file extension like hir. Standard wav-IR files can be used with most of the MFX units. These special L6 hir-files can only be used within the L6 family. You can buy Celestion wav files directly from celestionplus.com eg.
grdGo33
There's plenty of free IRs out there, so I would start off with that rather than buying anything. Search for IR in this forum, I created a thread where there are I think nearly 100 free patches to try. Also, upcoming Go patch might contain re-vamped Cabs, so, unless you need IR packs right now, could wait, or just use free patches in the meanwhile. wismanus
You should be safe here. I made an IR of my early 1980's Marshall cab in 2048 format. POD GO only works with 1024, it did the conversion when I loaded the IR and it sounds as good as the 2048 version on my HX stomp.
