Bass Wet/Dry Rig

Hi, I’m new to the Helix family and stereo routing in general. Not sure how complicated this is to route, but I just acquired a Tech 21 DI-2112 that has outputs for the deep and drive sections that I’d like to process separately and routed with a dry output that runs into my bass cab and wet output for my modulation/delays/verbs/etc ran through an frfr. Any visual diagram or explanation would be greatly appreciated!

Answer depends on your specific goals and gear.

Helps to know which Helix family device you're using?

Using Stereo FX to stereo FRFR?

Deep/drive on separate channels? Separate processing for each?

Hi, I’m using a single PA speaker for my wet signal routed in mono and my dry signal will be routed to a bass cab powered by a power amp. The Helix LT is the brain in this situation. My idea is to have all of my effects routed to a wet signal for the sake clarity and so that my low end doesn’t fall flat when I engage any modulation.

EZ PZ. Demo preset attached.

Take the DRIVE/DEEP OUTs from the Sans Amp to the L/R Inputs of the LT.

Take the 1/4" L/Mono Out (Path 1A, no FX) from the LT to the Bass amp.

Take the XLR L/Mono Out (Path 1B with FX) from the LT to the FRFR.

Forgot to mention, but the deep and drive sections will be in separate channels so I can process them differently.

New Demo preset attached.

Decide which input you want to use for each Sansamp channel, Paths 1A and 2A are for whatever is in the LEFT INPUT.

Paths 1B and 2B are for whatever is in the RIGHT INPUT.

Haven’t had the chance to use the preset yet, but can I share effects between the two channels?

Anything placed before the split on Path 1 will be on both channels.
