jdh3000
About 7 years ago I stored my Vetta II because I got a regular bass playing gig and just wasn't using it. I recently hooked it up and though it still had my user presets the same, but I couldn't adjust the internal tone knobs nor save any changes. I assumed the not saving was due to the lithium battery being dead, which suprised me that it retained my settings...but I don't understand the on-screen tone controls not working; could this be due to the battery as well, or is something else going on? If I hit the save button, it goes to a totally different page than it should. I appreciate any help. I just kind of wondered what kind of repairs I'm looking at. Thank you! psarkissian
Sounds like it's time for servicing at an authorized service center.
jdh3000
I was actually wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if they knew if it was indeed an issue with a battery.
psarkissian
It can be battery, old oxidized solder point, failing selector encoder. Should be properly gone over by a Line 6 authorized tech, it won't be a customer self repair.
