michroma Posted June 19, 2023 Share Posted June 19, 2023 I just got a new laptop and I was setting up my toneport ux1. I downloaded all updater,licence manager,pod farm2 and monkey, then got it registered and authorized to my pc. When I connect it to my pc, it radiates a red light that goes off after aroud 1O seconds and my pc(monkey) says that the device is not connected and thus cannot be updated . there really should not be any kind of physicial damage on the equipment, since it worked just fine before and it wasnt being manipulated. michroma Posted June 20, 2023 Author Share Posted June 20, 2023 it has USB 2.O port (my notebook is lenovo v15 g3 iap with Windows 11), I tried it there as well but it still didnt show that its connected. The computer made the connecting sound, but still nothing happens otherwise. Red light on toneport still shuts off within a few seconds. michroma Posted June 24, 2023 Author Share Posted June 24, 2023 when i try to update it, it fails to launch the instalation and tells me to do it manually. silverhead Posted June 24, 2023 Share Posted June 24, 2023 Monkey is the correct program to update the Toneport; Line 6 Updater is for more recent devices. The Monkey window you attached shows that Monkey thinks your Toneport is not connected. What happens if you hit the Connect to Device button just above the picture of the monkey?
