AuntPhyllis
Hi guys, I searched around for an answer to this question but never found anything concrete. I'm in a hardcore band as a single guitarist and I wanted to emulate the live setup of the guitarist from the band Kublai Khan using a Helix LT. From what I gathered he basically sends his amp signal to two cabs on either side of the stage with one signal receiving something like 50ms of delay to emulate a second guitarist/ enhance the guitars stereo presence. Is something like this possible with the Helix LT? I don't actually own one and this would decide whether I'm going to pick one up in the future. Thanks! rd2rk
Yes. If imitating dual guitarists is your goal you can have two different amps panned hard L/R through two different cabs with totally custom mics and positioning and up to 50 ms delay on one.
