TheRealZap
yes it will work to control the amp. HOWEVER, you would need an MKII version to update or edit from a computer.

kraftmi
New to this environment and type of hardware, but thought I would experiment because of the versatility of the Line 6 product. Dumb question, but can you program the MK II Express to switch between preset channels (like 07C, 02A, etc) on my Spider amp? I can't figure out how to program the MKII (or find any clear instructions) on how to do that. Any help is appreciated!
fflbrgst
The FBV Express Mk2 is just a 'switchbox' - any "programming" is done in your amp. You can switch between the 4 patch locations (A,B,C,D) in the patch bank you have chosen on the amp itself. You cannot change banks from the Express MkII - the Shortboard MKII has a bank up/down feature, but to change from 07C to 02A you would have to step on the 'bank down' 5 times, then on the 'A' button.
