Zumehh
Hi I am new here I am getting a helix but the phones knob is broken, this isn't a massive deal to me as I want to gig mostly and use a cab, but I would like to record and go into my computer, So my question is, With not being to access the phones volume can I still use the helix with an interface into monitor speakers ? or even use monitor speakers with the helix? and can I use the helix as an interface still? If so what cables do I need instead of using headphones port? If this possible and how ? Thanks!

For recording, all your 8 audio ins and outs to your DAW are handled via a regular USB2 cable, the same one used for remote editing of presets using HX Edit. You could connect your (powered) studio monitors from either the Helix XLR, or 1/4” jack sockets. If you’re really in a situation where you need to use headphones, (neighbours), you could tap off a Send block with a mini headphone amp, similar to this (link below). https://www.thomann.de/gb/behringer_ha400.htm Hope this helps/makes sense.
