Ebusje
I have a powercab which is obviously an active cabinet. I also have a small tube amp head, which I want to connect to the same speaker. I'm not going to connect my amp to the powercab 1/4 inch plug, because my amp needs a direct load to a speaker. Can I connect a passive speaker wiring harness to the same speaker, with a separate 1/4 inch plug ? So if I want use my Helix, I will connect it to the Powercab input, but if I want to use my amp, I will connect it to the installed wiring harness 1/4 plug, with the Powercab turned off. Maybe not a smart idea, but is this possible to do ?
somebodyelse
Depends on whether you can impedance match the amp and speaker. Of course, you'd have to open the PC up to try it.
amsdenj
A better option might be to use a reactive load box with a line out into the Powercab input. Then run Powercab in either Flat/LF Raw or any of the speaker models.
