taylorbrierley
I understand the fuzz face is particulary sensitive to impedance, but is there anyway we can fix this issue when putting the Germanium Fuzz Face Mini in the fx loop. I remember you can change the impedance in the hx stomp, would turning the guitar in-z down fix this issue, i remember it did help fix the issue with the arbiter fuzz in the helix. Or should i just put the fuzz face before the hx stomp and run all my non sensitive impedance pedals (big muff, blues driver, phase 90) in the loop? theElevators
As far as I understand, putting such effects in the loop ruins the tone/feel. It's not an analog loop, so there's digital/analog/digital/analog conversion, so it will never be the same as putting it in the beginning of your chain. I would recommend giving the internal fuzz a try. I, for example, was pleasantly surprised when I found the octavio sound of the Helix... it sounded pretty sweet! https://youtu.be/Ke7A1PrvsEU?si=8sMsPbKZ9CgTF4Er
