Hi, This is to something that I have ever encountered, but a quick Google turned up this result from the Fretboard Forum posted a couple of years back :- "NOW SOLVED. In case anyone else has the same issue, I went through the de-authorising/reauthorising PC; and unistalling/deleting %appdata%/reinstalling process again. This time it worked - the only difference to previous attempts being to delete the entire Native folder from Roaming rather than just all contents. Whatever the weird mechanism, this has worked for me. Hopefully this will help someone else with the same issue.... KRTW
Hi. Thanks for the posts. What a PITA. I added Helix Native as an FX in Reaper. The error came up. The only option I had was to log into my account. So I did. Reauthorized my PC. Now when I start Native, I ONLY get the log in screen for the account. How do I exit this and get back to the actual plugin? This is stupid and frustrating.

Hi, I have only just spotted your follow up question - I only receive notifications that someone has replied to a post if they have quoted part of my response, then I get an email to inform me - but hey, here we are. I’m not entirely sure that I understand exactly what is happening with your installation. If you try to launch HX Native as a plug-in, and it comes up with a log in screen, the surely the thing to do is log in to your account. Once verified you should be able to run Native. IIRC, I seem to think that I read somewhere, that for some bizarre reason there was an issue trying to log in from within a DAW, but by opening HX Edit and logging in from there it cleared the glitch with Native. Hope this helps/makes sense.
KRTW
Nope. Here are two images. Both are the FX window in reaper. This is all I can do. My internet access is really limited due to travel. Sorry for delays...I hope someone see's this.

Hi, I found this, but I’m not sure if it has any bearing on your issue with HXN. Changing the name of a hard drive can be a problem. Also there is this thread about which versions of the plug-in should be installed - it was originally regarding Cubase, but some replies are from Reaper users. Plus, IIRC, at some point there was an issue where HX Edit and HX Native would fail to launch correctly if there was an SD Card loaded in the PC. I thought this had been resolved, but maybe not. There is also someone on here that says they had vestiges of an older version of the VST lurking on their system which was causing errors. https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=223278 Hope this helps/makes sense.
