dvenom77 Posted January 29, 2024 Share Posted January 29, 2024 tried updating to 3.71 cannot get hx edit to connect to device after update 1, this is what I did new computer yesterday 2, this morning downloaded HX edit no problems .... 3, backed up helix floor no issues 4,started on update and now stuck on boot failure, entered update mode HX edit does not connect helix {no device connected] I have repowerd up helix several times held the 2 buttons down etc reconnect disconnect usb several times ugh and I successfully had 3.70 update working b4 this my old laptop died so no go to try that I have been reading other forums searching for what I am missing Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Once more from the top! HX Edit cannot connect to a device in a failed state! Use the Line 6 Updater Utility and perform an offline update. Go here and follow the instructions to the letter, but bear in mind this is from an older post, therefore all references to version numbers must be the very latest available for the 3.71 firmware update. dvenom77 Posted January 30, 2024 Author Share Posted January 30, 2024 I can't install line 6 updater this is the error I get “Line 6 Updater.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated.
