DocEmmetBrown
Hello community, I think I have a fault with my Sider 6 Jam. If I practice with it for a while at home, i.e. actually very quietly, the AMP cracks briefly and is then a lot louder. When I notice this, I switch it off briefly and then on again. This morning it was a real blast. I almost fell off my chair. Otherwise it wasn't that loud. Another thing I noticed is that the master volume control no longer works after I switch it to loud myself. You can't turn it down. It's always the case when the AMP has been on for a while. And there is always a crackling sound from the loudspeaker beforehand. What I've read on the net so far doesn't help me. Of course, there's a lot of talk about this AMP, but I got it as a present. And since I've only been playing guitar for 5 weeks, it's more than enough for me. Now someone might say, OK, that's why you got it as a present. Maybe, but that's not the point. My question to you, has anyone who has been playing for a long time ever had such an experience: And what might help? I also did a factory reset today. Let's see if that helps? It already has the latest firmware. Greetings to all Doc
psarkissian
Could be a solder point on a board. That would require a trip to an authorized service center. Or, a loose retainer nut, resulting in a loose chassis ground on one of the control potentiometers.
