Powercab sounding distorted as the night goes on

Greetings, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this - First, I bought both the PC+ 1x12 and the PC+ 2x12. I used my Helix with the 2x12 with a 6-piece classic rock band, started off with a FANTASTIC sound, but noticed as the night went on, the sound started to sound like it was clipping, breaking up, sounding unnaturally distorted. Wasn't sure if it was just my ears from playing all night. Last night I did an acoustic gig with the 1x12 PC+ and my Helix, again started with an AMAZING acoustic sound, but toward the end of the first set, about an hour and 15 min I was noticing the same thing - breaking up, clipping. Turned everything off during the break, 2nd set started off great, then again started noticing the breaking up after about an hour into 2nd set. My percussionist noticed it too, so I know it wasn't just my ears being fatigued. So that's my question: has anyone else has experienced the Helix/Powercab combo sounding amazing at the start of a gig and then slowly deteriorating as the night goes on - thanks!

I've never encountered this with my PC212+. I'd say to do a factory reset, but if it's happening on two different Powercabs that wouldn't SEEM to be the issue.

I would look into other devices in your signal chain that your two rigs have in common?

Yeah, I thought it was just the 2x12, but then it happened with the acoustic and the 1x12. It doesn't make sense because it's all digital - nothing is overheating . So yours sounds the same the entire night, no matter how long it is on?

I don't gig with mine, but sometimes I just leave it on for days at a time, playing for an hour or so here and there, and never had the issue.

Oddly, I'm having a similar issue with Ableton Live, which I use for synths, where after a random period the audio engine just gets all distorted and I have to toggle it on/off to get it back to normal. But that's, I'm sure, some Windows service or other causing a hiccup. Nothing to do with your problem. Is there anything else that you use in both signal chains that could be suspect?

Nothing - straight into the Helix and out to the PC with a digital cable - tried a regular XLR, but same thing happened - after an extended period got this unnatural breaking up sound. I watched a YouTube video on going line out of the helix into any amp. I tried it with a few amps that I have, and in a couple it sounds fantastic. I haven't really played for an extended period, but am going to try it at an upcoming gig. If it plays consistently all night, I'm selling both power cabs LOL.
