jmdallett95
I’ve been failing miserably at trying to add an external tap tempo footswitch to my HX Stomp. It is a RockSound single non latching switch and I’ve followed instructions to assign it in both the Global and preferences menus. Wondering what I’m doing wrong. Here are some probably dumb questions: Do you need to remove the tap/tuner function from FS3 to do this? If I’m only running a single switch does that mean I should NOT use a TRS cable and just use a standard 1/4” patch cable? Do I need to run a Y splitter to separate FS4/FS5 input? The only results I saw when trying to do this was once or twice the tuner came up, but then I could not exit it via the footswitch. Thanks for the help guys
Schmalle
TS cable is sufficient. Set Global Settings -> Preferences -> EXP/FS Tip to FS4 Global Settings -> Preferences -> EXP/FS Ring to EXP2 (to make sure FS5 doesn't get triggered by the TS plug) Global Settings -> Preferences -> Tip Polarity to Normal Global Settings -> Footswitches ->FS4 Function to TAP/Tempo
