zshahguitar
I'm getting the dreaded 0-100-0 glitch with the expression pedal. I believe I have eveyrhring setup right. I attached a picture of what it looks like. So I have the Tip pligrf into the EXP, and the Ring plugged into the footswitch. The other end is going into EXP 1/2 in the Stomp. I tried reversing polarity as well but it didn't work. Any tips on what to do? Most solutions I've seen to this issue don't involve this pedal, and most of the time it seems like people have the wrong cable. I believe I have the right cable, but let me know
Schmalle
The 'glitch' is caused by the wiring of the expression pedal: a TS plug connects/shorts the ring contact which provides the inverted signal. The easy way around is to plug 90% into the expression pedal's jack so that the tip of the plug connects to the ring of the jack. For this you might need to invert the inverted signal by changing the Global Settings->Preferences->Tip Polarity. Or you can open the expression pedal and remove the ring contact (bending it) or clipping the cable leading to it.
