Reguserman Posted February 26, 2024 Share Posted February 26, 2024 Hello everyone! I have a DT50 112 and it has a slight distorted / crackly sound no matter what setting I have it on. I only hear the distorted sound when I am playing. It does not pop or crackle when I am not playing anything. I thought it was the tubes so I replaced them all and it still sounds distorted. Also, I tried another speaker and still heard the distorted / crackly sound so I am sure it is not that. Interesting sidenote... When I plug my guitar directly into the Effect Loop Return, there is no distortion. It's nice and clean sounding. Is it the A25 main board? I like amp and would like to keep it running. psarkissian Posted February 26, 2024 Share Posted February 26, 2024 Either it's time for the tubes to be replaced, or there's an intermittent solder point somewhere.
