trentjgibson
I just purchased a Helix LT from a friend. Got it home, running on a brand new MacBook Pro, downloaded the most up-to-date HX Edit, connected the Helix LT, and it worked...for a few seconds. I then got what I have come to find out is the dreaded "Boot Failure. Entered Update Mode!" display. So I then searched these forums and downloaded the most up-to-date firmware and drivers, and still have the same message. HX Edit was not running in the background during these downloads. I have downloaded the Line 6 Updater, and the Helix LT is recognized there. But when I open HX Edit, it shows "Helix LT" at the top, but at the bottom, it says "No Device Detected". I have removed and redownloaded HX Edit. I have done the factory reset. I have put it in Update Mode. I just need help getting this thing working as I'm feeling incredibly defeated. HI, Really, I am going to stop doing this because it is becoming really depressing to keep typing the same thing over, and over. HX Edit CANNOT CONNECT TO A DEVICE THAT IS IS A FAILED STATE! Go here and follow the instructions to the letter, but any references to versions numbers obviously need to be the latest ones. DO NOT LET YOUR MAC LOSE FOCUS WHILE INSTALLING. DO NOT MOVE YOUR MOUSE FROM THE iNSTALLER WINDOW. Hope this helps/makes sense.
