Jimskinner
I fried one 30 W Spider by playing it too quickly after bringing it in from the cold. However, the CD/MP3 in works fine. I've already spent more than it it worth trying to get it fixed so I bought another one - like new. Store stickers still on it. In a perfect world I would make use of the cd/mp3 in jack to connect the broken one to the new one using the phones/record out. Having two 30W amps in a small venue could give an awesome sound - especially with effects. But the problem noted by so many occurs, plug into the record out jack and I loose the speaker in that amp. I have read some comments about altering the 1/4 inch jack going into the record out jack. Any ideas?
psarkissian
Speaker cut-off when using headphones out, has to do with impedance. To have both going at the same time would heat the amp chip and blow something.
Jimskinner
So, you can't have both the line out and the speaker going on one amp? Or is the line out line too hot to plu into a mps line in jack on another amp? Just trying every combination. Thank you
