HX one power bank

First, make sure your HX One behaves properly when used with the Line 6 power supply that came with it. That will rule out your HX One itself as the problem.

Then check the specs on your Joyo and make sure they match the HX One - 9VDC, center-negative, 2.1mm
center diameter, 500mA. If the specs match and it  doesn’t work there’s likely a problem with your Joyo.

Glad you got it worked out. But perhaps you should be more cautious about connecting power to electronic devices. Sounds like you connected things together without checking compatibility or requirements. That can quickly and easily cause internal components to fry beyond repair. A crackling sound and whiff of smoke should not be the way you discover that things aren’t properly matched.
