Could someone kindly suggest how I can get somewhere close to this sound?

I do know that he's using an Etap2HW echo and a Valvetronix amp.

Hi, Clive,

 

I guess the tone you’re looking for is Hank Marvin/Shadows style.

If you click on “CUSTOMTONE” in the menu bar at the top of this page. On the next page click on “TONES”, then you can select HELIX, or NATIVE. In the next section you have the option to search. In the search box enter “Shadows” and hit return. You can now wade through a whole bunch of user presets that may, or may not, be what you require, but it is a place to start.

Oh, yeah, you will also need a Strat with a whammy bar.
