HX Effect Tonex Pedal in loop monitoring

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a "Tonex Pedal" which I inserted into the S/R of my HX Effects. I've seen that a lot of people use the Tonex like this, now I was wondering if anyone uses headphones to listen to what he's playing. I did some tests taking the Left&Right outputs of the HX but what comes out is very ugly and not very faithful to what I hear from the headphone output of the Tonex Pedal. Any advice or tricks to solve the problem and allow me to play with this system on headphones?

Your S/R needs to be set to INSTRUMENT.

If you're using DIRECT (no cab) captures you'll need an IR in the HXFX.

The ToneX has EQ which can be placed before or after the capture, and of course, there's a variety of EQs in the HXFX.

thanks for the reply, I actually only use amp+cab profiles.

I don't understand the reason that theTonex headphone output is so different from the one that comes out of the HX Effects output (tonex direct are more better)

Check tonex signal levels accesing tonex pedal 'trim' setting in global settings.

Where do you connect the hx effects? A sound interface? Where do you connect the headphones to listen to hx global output?

I have exactly the same setup with hx effects and a tonex pedal in a loop block and it works fine.
