Are built in presets different from HX Stomp and Helix LT?

Hello everyone! Just recently dove in to the Helix universe. I have initially purchased a HX stomp XL to mainly use as a pedalboard replacement and I gotta say after it has updated the built in preset sounded fantastic(1A-1D specifically)! I have also noticed since I updated the Stomp the presets had no names but just said "New Preset" but it had a whole rig in all of them except for a last few.

After some thought I realized I would like an expression pedal and larger screen, more DSP power sounded nice so i have returned the Stomp and replaced it with a Helix LT. First thing i did was update the unit and excitingly wanted to continue with the exploration of the capabilities and noticed that now I have more presets and non that i found that were same as the ones I really liked in the stomp.

Is there a way I could get the same presets downloaded on the Helix? Or am I missing something? I am very fresh into the whole modeler universe coming from traditional tube.

       Thank you all!

The reason that the Stomp presets all said "New Preset" is probably because there was a mismatch between the FW and the HX Edit version.

The LT has TWO processors and thus the presets can be much more complex. There's also 8 "setlists" of 128 presets each vs ONE setlist of 126 on the Stomp.

The Stomp presets will load onto the LT, you just need to find someone who saved them from the Stomp FW version that had the presets that you liked.

First thing I did when I got my Stomp was delete the mostly useless stock presets to make room for my own creations.

I did the same when I got my HX Floor.

All the stock presets are good for/intended for is inspiration/instruction while you're learning the unit.

You might think they sound good in vitro, but in vivo they're awful.

Don't be intimidated! It's just a bunch of amps and pedals with extremely flexible cable-free routing.

Read the manual and get creative!

Remember - unlike ITRW, nothing you do will cause the magic smoke to escape from the unit! ;-)
