Troubleshooting Volume Drop

Hi -

I am having an issue somewhere in my rig (Guitar- helix- Fender FR12 amp/FRFR).

Occasionally, the volume will just drop approx 25-50%.  Just sitting and playing, not touching any controllers/knobs/etc.

Has anyone ever had this happen with their Helix?  My guess is that it's a problem with the FR12, but the service center is not close, so trying to make sure I'm not missing something obvious.

I have not been able to repeat the problem intentionally, but did a lot of the basics... different cables, jiggling the cables and making sure everything's plugged in all the way... doesn't seem to be input jack on guitar.

Maybe will try a reset on the helix, but I had done that fairly recently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I doubt it's the amp. Do you have a volume pedal block in any of the patches? Sometimes the expression pedal can start doing weird things and needs to be re-calibrated. Beyond that just about the only other thing you can try is back everything up, and then do a factory reset. If it persists, it's time for a service ticket.
