seyesbass
Guys, I am trying to figure out if its possible to do the above,or failing that only run the Variax and the ES335 together and run the lap steel through its own combo. I believe theres a way using the aux and guitar inputs for the analogue guitars and the Variax input but routing the signals so they are independant is this a practical soloution? Its for our guitarist and he hasnt purchased the 500 (or 500x) yet but I need to know if this will work before we start shopping for one. I use the M13 and Pod for varoius sounds at the moment so I am hoping we can use the line 6 equipment for his sounds too. Any ideas? Many thanks, Pete. Charlie_Watt
You should be able to do this but you may have some trouble balancing the gains without using the volume pots on the guitars. VDI for Variax, Guitar for ES335 and Aux for lap steel should work.
arislaf
BUT you will use only 2 combos on Pod, for 3 guitars.Meaning that one guitar will be running through another guitar at the same time.
seyesbass
Thanks folks. It looks quite practical once we get a handle on the routing etc. Shouldnt be too difficult to get the gains where we need them too. Our local dealer should be able to help us when we get the 500X. Fingers crossed! Many thanks.... As Arnie says..."I'll be back" .
Charlie_Watt
You have more confidence in your "Local Dealer" than I would. Most don't know the first thing about how to set up a pod for your unique application. But we can help!
