I recently swapped my motherboard. After the change, my Helix Native has stopped working.

Everytime I try to open the plugin I see this message:

I saw previous suggestions in the forum, on error 8201, that pointed at deauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer as the solution.
I dauthorized my computer and restarted Ableton, but no luck. The plugin won't load and so I can't even reauthorize it.

Please help :(

Hi,

As you mentioned, usually this sort of thing occurs along with the error codes -8201, or -8207 when people have modified their existing system by, for example, swapping a hard drive. Apparently, this happens because of the Helix Native copy protection.

Generally, you need to fully remove any and all parts of your version of Helix Native, then you need to navigate to Authorized Devices @line6.com (it is under your sign-in avatar) and locate the Deauthorize button next to the Authorized date to remove any unwanted devices. Once, you have completed this process, you should download and reinstall the latest version of Native and restart your computer. Launch Ableton, and insert an instance of H Native and authorise your new copy.

If this doesn’t correct the problem, then raise a ticket with Customer Service who should be able to assist with this issue.

Also, see the Helix Native Pilot's Guide and on page 6 you will find the detailed info you might require, under the heading

"Removing Helix Native".

Also, see this:

Hope this helps/makes sense.
