koozoop
Good evening, I'm planning to buy a multi effect to use with my stereo bass guitar (Billy Sheehan copy bass with stereo outputs). So, my question is if either the HX Stomp or Stomp XL can be used in such configuration, i.e. stereo in - stereo out to two amplifiers, assigning to each channel its own effects. Thank you in advance for any help!
rd2rk
Yes. Both have stereo Ins and outs. However, you are limited to 8 FX total, and which ones you'll be able to use depends on the DSP load of the FX. For example, if you're planning on using separate HX amps, which are MONO and DSP heavy, you might be VERY limited in the # of FX that you can use. koozoop
Good evening, Thank you for the reply. I plan to use it as a preamplifier, i.e. outputs to a Crown XLS power amplifier with each channel feeding separate cabs. I know I'm limited on DSP's but I'm not going to use more than three on each channel...
