Controlling Instant Commands with Snapshots in HX Effects

Is it possible to change an instant command (lightning bolts) with snapshots, without assigning a foot switch within the snapshot for the task? I have a second midi controlled loop switcher that I would like to send CC messages per snapshot using the instant commands so I can conserve footswitches on the HX effects for other tasks.

I can't figure this out. I thought I would be able to just go into the snapshot, then access the command center and adjust the values of the instant command but that is not working. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you're asking.

Instant Commands run when the preset is loaded and each time you change Snapshots.

When you create an Instant Command (IC#), that IC retains that command TYPE in ALL Snapshots, but the specifics are set to defaults in the other Snapshots (SS#).

Example - In SS1, IC1 is set to MIDI CC #5 on MIDI Channel 2. In all other Snapshots IC1 is set to MIDI CC #0 on the BASE Channel - the defaults for MIDI CC.

IF, in Global Settings>Preferences>Snapshot Edits = RECALL, you can move through the Snapshots and set IC1 as required without losing the settings made in SS1.

If Snapshot Edits is set to DISCARD, then you need to SAVE the preset before moving to the next SS or you'll lose the settings you've just made.

If I'm not understanding your problem, please provide more detail.
