No Signal Input From Guitar

Hi there,

 

small problem, I can't get any signal when I plug my guitar in.

 

The mic/xlr works fine. I selected the input but there's no change.

 

All the drivers have been updated and I've the UX2 as default speaker.

 

It's driving me nuts!

 

Any help appreciated

Common thing to check are that the guitar is functioning correctly with the cable selected - plug into an amp and check.  You wouldn't believe how many times people find the battery in the guitar for active pickups is dead, or that they had the guitar's volume control off.

Hey there,

 

a good point, but i've checked all cables (twice) and the guitar doesn't have an active pick-up.

 

It's a little strange that the xlr/mic input reads the signal but nothing for the guitar. It's a real bummer 'cause I really want to record!

Have you selected Guitar as the input source in Pod Farm (the Mixer page)?

I don't have it open in front of now, but I selected from a dropdown and from memory I can't recall seeing guitar but there was Mic 1, Mic 2, Mic Stereo and at least two other options which I presumed were for the jack inputs. Anyhow, I selected the other options with the guitar but nothing. I think I might need a replacement unit which sucks 'cause I bought it online !
