Boot Failure on Helix LT

I know it's a common topic, but I'm finding it impossible to fix. In the middle of a firmware update on Line6 Editor, my laptop went to sleep on me (I forgot to set it to 'never sleep' - my bad) and it interrupted the update and worse still, turned my LT into a brick which is no longer being seen as connected to the Editor app on the laptop. I've tried to download Line6 Updater and even Central but the message coming in from my MacBook pro says it can't install. I've updated to Monterey from Catalina in the hope that I could instal Updater but nothing is working. Meanwhile, even though I've tried to reset the LT, nothing is making it communicate with my laptop. I've changed usb cables, I've tried on/off fs 9&10, and all the other permutations of reset but NOTHING is working. I'm  stuck with a nice shiny new machine which isn't talking to me, my laptop or the Editor app. If I can't install Line6updater, what can I do next? Meanwhile, I'm in the UK and I can't see who I can call or help me - it's all jargon on the 'help ticket Please someone help me. I'm not a techie and didn't expect this level of difficulty with the firmware etc. Help.

Hi,

The  main thing that sticks out in your comment is -

"it interrupted the update and worse still, turned my LT into a brick which is no longer being seen as connected to the Editor app on the laptop. I've tried to download Line6 Updater and even Central but the message coming in from my MacBook pro says it can't install."

HX Edit cannot connect to a hardware device that is in a failed state. Also never let you Mac lose focus during the update, never have other background tasks running.

Go here  - read study and inwardly digest all the information regarding how to recover your LT from being a paperweight. It was put together a couple of years back, but usually fixes the issue. Remember where ever the information refers to a particular version number, you should regard that as a reference to the very latest version.

Oh, yeah - there are lots of us Helix users here in the U.K.

Hope this helps/makes sense.
