Quick Question - Hold and Release?

Hey guys!

I can't find it in the manuał so i need to ask here.

How Can i setup (if possibile) my snapshot or effect brick to Hold and Release?

What i mean is: Can i hold down a foot switch to engage desired snapshot only for the duration of me pressing the Button and then changing back to the first one after i pull my feet back? How can i set it up?

I've got this nice organic sound on one snapshot and wanted to add embellishments from the different snapshot. Those are quite quick and its very difficult to time back and forth stomps from one to the other.

Hope it makes sense.

Kind regards.

It's called momentary switching mode.  All info is in the manual, search for "momentary".

In summary, you can turn things on/off in the stomp mode by assigning one ore more blocks to a single button.  You can make it momentary or latching.  You can save your preset so that if you don't press the button you have a clean reverb sound; press the button and you have dirty dry sound--because you can assign multiple things to the same button.

I personally never use the stomp view on Pod Go or the Helix.  I use snapshots exclusively.  If I want to turn something on/off frequently, I instead use the expression pedal to bypass one thing/un-bypass something else.  Foot switches of Pod Go will not last if you plan on tapping one button frequently throughout your set.  But an expression pedal is more durable.  Trust me, I had to fix my Pod Go FSs already.

For info mentioned check out my YouTube channel and search for Pod Go.  https://www.youtube.com/@accidentals_hacks

Cheers!
